so much for my well laid plans this afternoon

i had to take the suburban to the hosp, and switch out with the trailblazer
so i decide, i'm going to wait until shortly after 5 30 to go up
that way, i'll be getting back to central just after 6 30
and i wont have a late call to go on
smart, wasnt i!

it all goes well
i get back abt 6 40
my relief walks in the door as i'm pulling in the bay
we head into the office
and i start to tell her abt the full time opening we have
and tones start dropping
2 vehicle mva, 3 pts
possible entrapment
and its only 6 45
so, we both hop in the trailblazer
and put us responding
county, medic 29 responding, with 2 providers
and i never left work until 9 12 pm

so much for my well laid plans!
