today

well, had a new experience today
we burned off my pompas grass
jon lit it, and it took off like wildfire
so, we had lots of water handy
i think it surprised him as to how fast it burnt

and then, we put down some grape cuttings
gotta get me some more grape vines

and then this evening, spent the better part of the evening proofing a blog posting for a friend of mine
am not completely certain that i understand all that he is trying to say, but i do get the gist of it. he is talking abt animals in heaven, and basically he is saying that the passages most folks use to support animals in heaven, are passages that are poetry, and as such, the writers took poetic license. so therefore, those passages cannot be used to prove that there will be animals in heaven. he is saying that animals do not have the spirit of God breathed into them, and because of that, they just go back to dust, they do not go to heaven.

am not completely certain that i totally agree with him, but i can't totally disagree, either
because i don't really know that a person can prove or disprove animals in heaven. i think animals in heaven is one thing that we won't know until we get there, and theres no sense in getting all tied up in a bunch over the question, here on earth. but it is fun to speculate :)
and i certainly wouldnt mind having my kc with me for eternity
