kansas

well, i guess its time to start back to a normal life
got back from kansas safely, and slept most all day, yesterday

we had a lovely trip
4 of us girls went
just a bit crowded, but fun
several really good conversations on the trip
quite hte interesting cd to listen too
"bohna soop un lahtvarick brote"
yes, it was a dutch cd, all pa dutch

j ran over 2 deer, within 30 min of each other on the way out
already dead on the road, and couldnt go anywhere x over top of
so after we got to kansas, to my uncle's place
we had told the story
and my uncle and aunt tell us that the cats were under the car,
licking off deer parts
and s says, i dont believe it
and that turned into the saying of the entire wkend
"i don't believe it"

got my cousin married
and sent on their honeymoon
met my other cousin's gf
saw the newest baby
and found out hte 4th cousin is preg
played the menno game a time or two

then on to hillcrest
to meet another cousin
yes, i've got a hundred or so
took a tour of the place
met a few of hte staff
almost had me wishing i had done a term there
oh well,
who knows what life would have been like, had i gone into vs somewhere

headed on home, then, monday afternoon
with the saying of the trip, being, oh. my. WORD!

got to my grandfathers shortly after 4 30 AM
and then, home, just after 5
kc was ecstatic
wouldnt let me out of his sight
and then, of course, had to show his displeasure
so, he peed on the floor and jumped up on the dresser
but thats been the extent of his arguing
he's been quite good, today :D
