weeding

today has been a lovely day
got nice and dirty
and scrubbed it all off
was quite worth taking a shower, tonight!

was outside in my bare feet,
weeding my flower beds
here's hoping i didnt pull out any flowers, thinking they were weeds

kc had all kinds of fun, outside
once, he was outside, and i was still at the table
i got up, and went to the mailbox, for the mail
and before i got back inside, he was crying
poor guy musta thot i deserted him again

and for hte better part of hte day
he would make sure i was within seeing distance
and he was fine
