misfortune

kc's misfortune continued this morning
he woke me up
at 6 30, i might add
and kept jumping up on hte head end of my bed
meowing
and generally making a nuisance of himself
i'd growl him
and he'd move away for a bit
and i squirted him with vinegar water
and he took off down the steps
but in 15 min he was back
i wanted to sleep!!

so, i got up and shut the door in his face

the last time i did that, he pooped on the carpet right in front of hte door
and i guess he trained me, cause i've never shut him out since
till this morning

and when i officially got up this morning
he was lying on the floor right outside the door
waiting on me

hard

poor kc has had a really hard day today

started out early this afternoon, when i shut the door in his face, and made him stay outside
well, i had to!
i was being a good little menno girl and washing hte floor on my hands and knees
he had to stay outside cause he was being a pain in hte rear
poor guy tho,
he sat just outside the deck door, and meowed
he wanted in
and i kept saying not yet
and when he finally was allowed in, all he wanted was food, he didnt care abt me

later on, i had a piece of cake, that i was trying to eat
he was trying his best to stick his nose in my cake
i'd move it to one side, and he'd come over there
then i'd move it to the other side, and he trot right over there
he never did get a piece of it
he finally gave up, and i had no idea where he got to

and abt an hr later, i was very unladylike, and i made no attempt to hold a fart
and he promptly got up from under my chair and moved to the other side of the room

laugh!!!
oh, how i laughed at him

poor cat has had a hard day
even now, he's sitting in hte doorway to my bedroom, instead of right beside or on my bed
i think he must still be mad at me!

snow

its snowing
reports say up to 16 inches by tomorrow evening

i have off tomorrow
so
i think that i'm going to do some baking
after all,
my neighbor is going to come plow me out
and i've got to have something to give him for it

mom might come over too
depends on the roads, she said

i'm going to be mean and nasty to kc too, tomorrow
i'm going to shove him out the door, and see what he thinks of snow
and then, i'm sure i'll laugh at him!
i cant wait!

i want to write something profound
but my brain doesnt want to think profound thots

so,
i guess i wont force it this evening
 

limbo

i need to get myself a calling card again
so that i can make long distance calls from my phone
instead of thru yahoo and mic

i'm also abt ready to give up and go find a new cell phone
even tho mine still works nicely
i know...
i've declared up and down that i'm being cheap and wont get another one till this one dies
but i'm ready for a cell that has service at my house
i also have a long list of wants to go with it

capability of saving a few documents, of writing a few and saving them, then transfering, prob via email if necessary
service at my house
preferably flip type, but that might not be an option
a few games, such as tetris, diamond mine, snake

my brain is in limbo this evening
it's not sure what to write
its not sure what to think
its been daydreaming, somewhat
which isnt a good thing, for me

played texas hold'em with central's crew and darryl today
and i won the first game
twas feeling pretty good over that one
and then, was losing in the 2nd game, and the pager went
for a cancellation
so, darryl and i went for a ride, thru back woods country i've never been before
didnt get lost either

we drove past twin sisters craft shop
the sign said, we have the perfect valentines gift
so, i had to ask him, what is the perfect valentines gift?
is immediate answer?
a wild boar hunt
and he spends the next 5 min telling me all abt wild boar hunting

ya know
my dad is a pretty good guy
i wouldnt trade him for anyone else's dad

together, he and i got my water thawed this evening
and i think that i have figured out how to do it
so that i dont have to call him next time
not to mention, that next time i will know that i need to open all the faucets
not just the upstairs ones

and lwd
he's an ok guy too
we bummed his torch to thaw the pipes

today

broiled grapefruit
i can guarantee that i will not be making it for myself
neither will i ask for it to be made for me
it's eatable
but definately not scrumptious

put brown sugar on it, and broil it until hte sugar bubbles

today was my day for bumming food off others
went to kelli's for broiled grapefruit
and then central had a superbowl party, which i partook of, before i left work

its quite frigid today
and supposed to be overnight, as well
i opened the faucets to drip tonight
last yr, i had frozen pipes
and i'd prefer not to go thru that again this yr
