guess i'm off tomorrow, and working friday night for darryl
i'm tired, it'll be nice to have off tomorrow
but working fri night will be a pain

had the most lame als dispatch today that i have heard in a long time
i have no clue where they fit that into the protocol
ALS for hyperglycemia, pt has dementia so they dont know if he has any other symptoms or not
whoopty do

i got cancelled
as well i should have

btw, i'm on a personal care rant today
that hyperglycemia was both pc and comm center idiocy
but the other call i had today
disp for chest pain, thats all well and dandy, that's as it should be

come to find out, this guy fell, landed on his left shoulder on concrete
and now is complaining of left sided cp, very very tender to touch
and they gave him a nitro
how stupid can you get?
esp for someone who is supposed to have a "little" bit of medical training
ntg is for cardiac chest pain, not trauma chest pain

i think i must be getting jaded
i didnt use to complain abt stuff like that
i'd just laugh
