after lab work,
an ultrasound,
a CT abd chest neck,
a biopsy of hte lump,
more lab work
the verdict is in

mr kc has infected me

cat scratch disease
at least its not anything more serious
now i gotta get the prescription for zithromax filled
and i'll be set to go
